Dennis

Born and raised in Berlin, Dennis is one of the few homegrown Berliners left in town. Born in the western part of the city he witnessed the fall of the fall and the reunification of Germany when he was just 7 years old. He has some memories of the time and also some original pieces of the Berlin Wall in his book shelves. After a couple of detours in his life Dennis interest in history, art & literature led him to work as a tour guide in Berlin and also to his studies of History & german literature at the university of Potsdam. Right he mostly does the Free Tour to the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp.

Philipp

Born in Belgium, Philipp first came to Berlin to study history, but soon decided he'd much rather share his love for and knowledge of the city with its visitors. Tour guide out of passion since 2001, Friedrichshainer out of conviction since 2000. Philipp's wealth of knowledge will open up corners of the city and its history that you would never expect.

Matti

Matti is a real Berliner. There’s not too many of them in Berlin and even less that speak with Matti's peculiarly American accent. Born in former East Berlin a year before the fall of the Berlin wall, Matti grew up with the city. Currently studying History and English at the Univesity in Potsdam, Matti started working as a tour guide because he wanted to share his passion for the city with people from all over the world. Feel free to ask me him anything you want, except what he's going to do with his incredibly practical degree.

Born and raised in the sunny, sandy California desert, Summer then studied Art History in the hallowed halls of Ivy-League academia in New England before deciding to make Berlin her home. An active member of the English comedy scene in the German capital since her arrival in 2008, Summer also continues to work as a journalist with a focus on contemporary art and performance. Her love for exploring cities' multi-layered histories, wealth of anecdotes and distinctive flair for wit makes for an unforgettable journey through Berlin.
